KOHC will host our first quarterly meeting of 2021 on Friday, March 26 from 10am-12pm EDT. This year, to ensure the safety of all attendees, our March quarterly meeting will be virtual. The Children’s Health Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) advises the Advisory Council for Medical Assistance and makes recommendations to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services on issues related to children’s health and the Medicaid program. The Dental Technical Advisory Committee works with the Advisory Council for Medical Assistance and the commissioner of Medicaid to resolve issues in the dental health system. The Advisory Council for Medical Assistance (MAC) is a committee comprised of health professionals, providers, advocates, and Medicaid recipients. KRS 205.540 and KRS 205.550 outlines the members of the council and details its role with Medicaid. A meeting will be held on Thursday, May 27 from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm.
