Join the Kentucky Oral Health Coalition for a free training on recognizing the signs of pediatric abusive head trauma and how to prevent child maltreatment. Every Kentucky adult is a mandated reporter of child abuse and we each can play a role in keeping kids safe in our community.

Oral health professionals play a unique and important role in the prevention, recognition, and reporting of child maltreatment. Join the Kosair Charities Face It Movement and Delta Dental of Kentucky for a FREE training on Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma prevention and recognition.

Pediatric abusive head trauma, or shaken baby syndrome, is a severe form of child abuse that most often involves infants. FREE Continuing Education credits are available for dentists and dental hygienists.
