The Advisory Council for Medicaid (MAC) is a committee comprised of health professionals, providers, advocates, and Medicaid recipients. KRS 205.540 and KRS 205.550 outlines the members of the council and details its role with Medicaid. The Children’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) advises the Medicaid Advisory Council and makes recommendations to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services on issues related to children’s health and the Medicaid program.
