The Kentucky Dental Hygienists’ Association (KYDHA) invites you to join us at the 2020 KYDHA Advancing Lifelong Learning Conference. Participants can earn 14 Kentucky Board of Dentistry-approved continuing education points. Plan to spend the night and attend the courses on Saturday. The Dental Technical Advisory Committee works with the Advisory Council for Medical Assistance and the commissioner of Medicaid to resolve issues in the dental health system. There will be a meeting held on Wednesday, Aug. 12 from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be located at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Building (275 E. Main St., Frankfort, KY 40601) in the  DMS Commissioner's Conference Room located on the 6th Floor.

Main St., Frankfort, KY 40601) in the  Thompson Conference Room.

The Advisory Council for Medical Assistance (MAC) is a committee comprised of health professionals, providers, advocates, and Medicaid recipients. KRS 205.540 and KRS 205.550 outlines the members of the council and details its role with Medicaid. A meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The location of the meeting will be room 125 of the Capitol Annex (702 Capitol Ave, Frankfort, KY 40601).
