The mission of the KDHA is to improve the total health of all Kentuckians by ensuring access to quality oral health care and increasing awareness of the benefits of prevention while representing and promoting the highest standards of dental hygiene education, licensure and practice, thereby preserving the profession of dental hygiene in Kentucky.

The Children’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) advises the Medicaid Advisory Council and makes recommendations to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services on issues related to children’s health and the Medicaid program. The Advisory Council for Medicaid (MAC) is a committee comprised of health professionals, providers, advocates, and Medicaid recipients. KRS 205.540 and KRS 205.550 outlines the members of the council and details its role with Medicaid.  A meeting will be held on Thursday, March 22 from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The Location of the meeting will be room 125 of the Capitol Annex at 702 Capital Ave, Frankfort, KY 40601.
