The KDA is the voice of organized dentistry and works with its members to advance oral health in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The Dental Technical Advisory Committee works with the Advisory Council for Medical Assistance and the commissioner of Medicaid to resolve issues in the dental health system. The Children’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) advises the Medicaid Advisory Council and makes recommendations to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services on issues related to children’s health and the Medicaid program. A meeting will be held on  Wednesday, September 12 at 2:00 pm. Meeting location is 275 E. Main St., Public Health Distance Learning Room A 3rd Floor, Frankfort, KY 40621.

The Advisory Council for Medicaid (MAC) is a committee comprised of health professionals, providers, advocates, and Medicaid recipients. KRS 205.540 and KRS 205.550 outlines the members of the council and details its role with Medicaid. A meeting will be held on Thursday, September 27  from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The Location of the meeting will be room 125 of the Capitol Annex at 702 Capital Ave, Frankfort, KY 40601.
