The Advisory Council for Medical Assistance (MAC) is a committee comprised of health professionals, providers, advocates, and Medicaid recipients. KRS 205.540 and KRS 205.550 outlines the members of the council and details its role with Medicaid. A meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The location of the meeting will be the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Auditorium (200 Mero Street, Frankfort)  located on the first floor.

The Dental Technical Advisory Committee works with the Advisory Council for Medical Assistance and the commissioner of Medicaid to resolve issues in the dental health system. There will be a meeting held on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be located at the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Building (275 E. Main St., Frankfort, KY 40601) in the Cafeteria Conference Room located on the 1st Floor.

The Children’s Health Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) advises the Advisory Council for Medical Assistance and makes recommendations to the Cabinet for Health and Family Services on issues related to children’s health and the Medicaid program.
