SUMMARY:KOHC March 2022 Quarterly Meeting and Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma Training
DESCRIPTION:* Updated March March 17: KOHC March quarterly meeting will be held virtually only. \nKOHC will host our first quarterly meeting of 2022 on 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆\, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟬:𝟬𝟬 -𝟭𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 𝗘𝗧. Meeting topics will include updates on the KOHC policy and budget priorities\, Coalition projects\, and member updates. Following the Coalition meeting\, we will offer an 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma Prevention and Recognition Training from 𝟭𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠 -𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 𝗘𝗧. Oral health professionals play a unique and important role in the prevention\, recognition\, and reporting of child maltreatment. 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 CEUs are available for dentists and dental hygienists for the Coalition meeting and additional credits are available for the training. \nThis meeting and training will be a hybrid format with a 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝗻-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 and the remaining attendees can join virtually. The Kentucky Oral Health Coalition aims to bring together leaders in the oral health community\, policymakers\, oral health advocates\, professionals\, and students. \nWe look forward to an engaging meeting with members and oral health advocates.
