“I’m 44 and I more want to take care of my kid’s teeth and spend money on my kid’s teeth. So I get mine pulled and suffer the consequences so that he can have nice teeth.” – Kentucky Mom

“The first dental visit we did she was 5 and had 8 cavities. It was a big ordeal. My baby teeth rotted out and I am a firm believer if you don’t take care of baby teeth it affects your permanent teeth. I can’t stress to her enough… you don’t want teeth like mommy!” – Kentucky Mom

The powerful quotes above represent some of the concerns that we heard during our focus groups with parents across the state. The Kentucky Oral Health Coalition and partners have been gathering critical information about children’s dental health in Kentucky for the past 8 months. We are now in the final stretch of planning and want to get your input on prioritizing the goals for the campaign. Please take a few moments to share your thoughts and beliefs on this short survey  that will provide us with critical information needed to draft the Kentucky proposal, which is due December 19, 2013.  The survey will close at 5:00 PM ET on Friday, November 15.
